ReproHub will be making vetted recommendations to donors and investors about organizations, projects, and initiatives that we believe are essential to ensuring access to abortion, contraception, and reproductive health. This list is not meant to be exhaustive. Instead, we hope to highlight areas we believe are especially important and impactful. If you would like to learn additional ways you can support access to abortion and contraception, please fill out this contact form.
Uplift International
Uplift International is a close partner to ReproHub in our work to expand direct prescription access of the Mifepristone/Misoprostol combination to women seeking abortion.
They believe, with us at ReproHub, that every individual has a right to access contraception and abortion, no matter their zip code. Their expertise in research, their connections to the University of Washington by their CEO Beth Rivin, MD, and their long history of innovative projects both internationally and domestically, particularly those focused on Native American healthcare, make Uplift an important asset in the health and growth of the movement.
Uplift International is a not-for profit and seeks donations to further our collective work.
Afaxys
Afaxys is a socially conscious healthcare company that ensures healthcare providers have stable pricing and dependable access to the products and services they need to care for patients seeking reproductive and sexual healthcare.
ReproHub CEO Christine Charbonneau co-founded Afaxys with two colleagues who were concerned that for-profit pharma was ignoring health care products that women need to control their fertility.
While a for-profit company, Afaxys operates to ensure affordable access to community and public healthcare providers that serve low-income populations. Afaxys is the #1 provider of oral and emergency contraceptives to US clinics, saving providers millions of dollars every year in supplies as well as time and effort to procure them.
Currently, Afaxys is seeking approval of a technologically innovative, self-administered Depo Provera birth control shot that is administered sub-cutaneously rather than the “into the muscle” as available now. They are looking for investments to secure approval for this new product.
If you are interested, please contact ReproHub here and note that you are interested in Afaxys. We will get back to you.
UltraViolet
UltraViolet is a national advocacy organization that drives feminist cultural and political change. They work to improve the lives of women of all identities and backgrounds by disrupting patriarchy and creating a cost for sexism. UltraViolet demands accountability from individuals, the media, and institutions that perpetuate sexist narratives or seek to limit the rights, safety, and economic security of women. They leverage organizing, technology, creative campaigning, and people power to create lasting change.
Believing that we need to change the conversation around reproductive justice, ReproHub is especially excited by UltraViolet’s Women’s Disinformation Defense Project (WDDP). WDDP is a coalition of more than 40 gender and racial justice groups led by UltraViolet and focused on combating gendered misinformation, disinformation, and mal-information, which are disproportionately harmful to women, particularly Black women, women of color, and LGBTQ+ people.
